01What a landing page is for
A landing page has one job: turn a specific visitor into a specific action. Unlike a homepage, it does not need to explain everything. Every section either moves the visitor toward the action or removes a reason not to take it.
02The sections that matter
Most effective landing pages follow the same order, because it matches the questions a visitor asks:
- 1PromiseA headline that says what the visitor gets, not what the product is.
- 2Show itA product shot or short video near the top. Seeing beats reading.
- 3ProofLogos, numbers or quotes from real customers, right under the promise.
- 4How it worksThree steps at most. If it takes more, it sounds hard.
- 5ObjectionsPricing, security, time to set up: answer them before they are asked.
- 6One action, repeatedThe same button at the top, the middle and the end.
03Where AI helps, and where it doesn't
AI is excellent at layout, first drafts of copy and making variations quickly. It cannot invent your proof: customer quotes, numbers and logos must be real. Replace any placeholder testimonials before publishing; fake proof is the fastest way to lose trust.
04Check before launch
- The page loads quickly on a phone connection.
- The call to action is visible without scrolling on a phone.
- The form or checkout actually works, end to end.
- The page title and description match the ad or post that sends people there.
